Steel sheets for vehicle bodies and chassis
An electric vehicle is powered not by fossil fuel, but by electricity. Invented in 1873, the electric vehicle predated the gasoline-powered vehicle but has only recently been adopted on a commercial basis due to previously, among other things, having a short range and long charging time. Wider adoption of an electric vehicle requires a lighter body and a lighter and smaller battery for a longer range and a shorter charging time.
Non-oriented electrical steel (NO) for drive motors
The traction motor for an electric vehicle is the engine to a regular motor vehicle.The motor contains an electrical steel sheet that allows the driveshaft to turn when a current is applied. The less electricity the sheet loses, the more efficient the motor becomes. This way the electric vehicle can have a higher level of efficiency.
Steel sheets for EV batteries
In a motor vehicle, the battery stores electricity in the form of a chemical reaction and converts the reaction back to electricity. An electric vehicle battery typically consists of a cell, a module and a pack. Multiple battery cells constitute a module, and multiple modules constitute a pack. An electric vehicle contains one such pack.

This is a device designed to generate electricity continuously through a reaction between hydrogen and oxygen. Consisting of stacked cells, it serves as the engine for a fuel cell electric vehicle.
